I am directed to acquaint you, for information of the Earl of Kimberly, that Mr Childers sees no objection to the documents therein referred to being laid before Parliament, proposed by Lord Kimberley, viz., the letter from the Colonial Office of the Ultimo and Dr Mackinnon's report, omitting Dr Mackinnon's letter and Mr Price's letter of 14th September and October, together with the Correspondence between the Colonial Office and War Office bearing on the question.
